I used to come to bay park fishing station since 2003. The previous owner Mark was a great guy. Friendly and helpful. His staff was great as well. Ever since Mark retired, bay park fishing station hasn't been the same. Higher prices, smaller selection of rods and reels, and service isn't as great. If you live in the Oceanside area, I highly recommend Ralph's bait and tackle in Island Park. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, nice selection of rods, reels, combos, lures, and other supplies. Great place to go and get all of your fishing needs and it's also help support a local shop unlike Bass Pro or dicks, they're not fully stocked like some places, but they definitely do have a lot of necessities, bait, tackle, fuel... I would definitely just call ahead if you're driving from far to double-check if they have what you need Under new ownership
