What a joke this place is, I miss Mark. The dock hands don't know anything and when you tell them I am going up to the store they don't want to help you. They actually untied a line and said to move up and walked away. What a joke this place is.

I used to come to bay park fishing station since 2003. The previous owner Mark was a great guy. Friendly and helpful. His staff was great as well. Ever since Mark retired, bay park fishing station hasn't been the same. Higher prices, smaller selection of rods and reels, and service isn't as great. If you live in the Oceanside area, I highly recommend Ralph's bait and tackle in Island Park. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, nice selection of rods, reels, combos, lures, and other supplies.
