We contracted with Bay Nursing for my mother’s hospice care. While in their “care” we hired a caregiver whom they did not agree with and they bullied us, gave us an ultimatum and would not send a nurse to care for my mother unless we fired our beloved caregiver. We switched hospice companies because my mother was in critical need of care. Bay nursing failed our mother and they failed us. My mother passed away less than a week after they abandoned us. If I could rate less, I would. They left my mom at home with severe cellulitis on her legs and essentially left her to die. She was slurring her speech and EMS told us that home care should’ve called 911 several days ago. Never never again…. Do not trust this company…

I worked at this hospice company as a nurse and wanted to share an honest, balanced perspective. The work itself was meaningful, and supporting patients and families at end of life was a rewarding part of the role.
