The four of us ordered three appetizers and three main dishes and they were all very delicious. They brought the appetizers first and that was good because we were getting pretty hungry. They also gave us a crispy bread with some green and red sauce on the house. We sat in a cozy booth in the corner. We will definitely check out this place again!
Five of us dined here last night and all very pleased. Ordered the Kale Chat, the Fish Pakoda, Tandoori Shrimp, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Butter Naan and Garlic Naan. Would happily re-order any except the Pakoda (not crispy enough). Everything else the best I’ve had at any Indian restaurant in a long while. Deserves to be a go-to place.
Extra delicious Indian food in the heart of Oakland. We had two classics: the chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo, both of which were excellent. The curries tasted like they were made with fresh tomatoes, onions, and garlic, and the garlic naan was extra crispy and oily - just right. We also had a mango lassi and the steamed chicken momos.
