There is no point of booking an appointment here. They don’t have much staff and they book in more people they can handle. Very poor management. I am surprised people still come here. Booked an appointment for 1:30 and couldn’t see a doctor till 4pm. Very unprofessional staff. When asked why there is a delay she just shrugged her shoulders insinuating she doesn’t know. Don’t visit unless you are ready to spend 4-5 hours in the clinic just for a general consultation. Very very poor service.
I want to highly commend Dr Tony Xie and colleagues who went absolutely 'above and beyond' in their attention to me. I visited for what I anticipated would be an easy 'in and out' presecription repeat. Dr Tony Xie advised me to pursue a check up and then a series of tests which have subsequently led to treatment to avoid a fatal outcome. I was completely unaware of the issue. Have been attending Bay Healthcare since the retirement of my long-time GP a few months ago and I've received nothing but the best of care and support from all concerned at the centre. Yes it is busy at times being in the heart of Rockdale. But that's to be expected - and I've only had to wait more than 20 minutes to see a doctor on one occasion. The receptionist lady was so rude!
I am absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of the reception staff at this clinic. The two older female receptionists are consistently rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily aggressive towards patients. They shout at patients, mock them, and speak in an extremely unprofessional and degrading manner. Patients are repeatedly told the doctors are “fully booked,” followed by sarcastic and mocking comments such as “next time come with a booking and don’t just walk in” — said in a tone that is humiliating rather than helpful.
