I went to the Bay Breeze Motel on 07/11/25 with my family. When we arrived we thought we were mistaken because it looked nothing like the photos posted on Expedia. When we approached the front desk there was a man who was high and couldn’t stand up straight or articulate words properly. When he let us look one of the rooms it was dirty, with not a/c, limited access to the bathroom. In the bathroom the faucet was broken and there was no handle to open it. We came up from Connecticut for a few days with my granddaughter and her boyfriend and their dog dreamy. I usually stay at the Ocean Mist or the Red Jacket, or Bayside but since we were coming with a little 18b dog no one would take us. We came across this place by accident and thank God we did. First, I’m a block away from the ocean mist , same beach same area. DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked a room on Booking.com since the hotel's website was not secure. When I arrived at the hotel the front desk staff demanded my credit card again and would not let me check in without it. I was then double charged for the room and have to go through a dispute with Booking and my credit card. Total scammers! I actually cancelled my current credit card since they wrote down my number and am afraid it is no longer secure.
