Cj here again for my second review. I see the response that was given by Tom the owner to my last review. It said they can be reached at their phone number during business hours....no you can't because nobody picks up the phone. I called Their number on their paperwork which is different than the number on the website. The website states the owner can not receive calls" good by". Call the number on their paperwork and you will just get a recording as usual. I received a letter from the IRS stating my tax return has 4 missing... read more

Ive been having my taxes done by Tom for many years and hes amazing. Bats gets things done professionally and timely. I’ll never go anywhere else.

All of the positive reviews seem to be over 4 years ago. The most recent are within the year and both are 1&2 stars poor reviews. I had a great experience when I met with Tom and his team. I dropped off my taxes a month ago. I called one week ago to find out the status of my taxes. I spoke with a receptionist and I was calling back later by Tom. Apparently someone else was doing my taxes and said I would get a call the next day. That was a week ago. I called and left two messages since then and the last one was two days ago ... read more

I paid Bay Area Tax Specialists for my 2022 taxes but my transcript was never submitted to the IRS resulting in $810 of penalties and late fees. I understand mistakes happen and had hopes that this was going to be fixed. I’ve emailed and called multiple times. Most of my attempts to reach Tom have been ignored as he doesn’t return my calls. I would’ve need happy to have received a response to my emails, but here I am still waiting. My last call to him, he said he would call me back after checking into it and it’s now a week ... read more
