Dr. Menosky has been in practice for almost 30yrs….and his lack of enthusiasm is ever apparent. We’ve been coming to his clinic for over a year and it’s one of the most miserable doctor experiences we do. It’s like this every time. We typically have the first appointment of the day due to work schedules. Dr. Menosky walks into the building 30-45min AFTER our appointment. We are then taken back to start the exams. I have seen Dr Mines at the Palm Harbor and Bayonet Point Office. The staff very nice. Dr Mines was very kind, did a very thorough and gentle exam and made sure my eye was completely numb for my injection and laser treatment. I did have to wait today, but my other visits, I was seen quickly. Due to all the testing, exams and pictures, each visit lasted about 2.5, which is understandable for all that is done. I would recommend Dr. Mines.
I went to this doctor and his partner for over 25 years. I had no idea the exam was not supposed to be painful because they were the only Retina specialist I saw. Dr. Menosky was the worst. The last few years I change to a different retina specialist and it has never hurt at all. My new doctor told me it’s not supposed to be painful. They used a cup and dug it into my eye over and over again with pressure. Also, you wait hours and hours to be seen in their office because they overbook.
