The pulmonology team at TGH said that my mother would GREATLY benefit from Roflumilast… but they couldn’t prescribe it, as it would have to come from her pulmonologist. Dr Kundra had no idea what Roflumilast is… (it is a leading drug for the treatment of severe COPD). He was unwilling to look it up to learn about it when I asked. He would not even consider it for my mother without a note from that doctor…. Like we can go see a specific pulmonologist at TGH again for a letter.
