I had a wonderful experience for my 20 week anatomy ultrasound scan. First off Crystal at the front desk was wonderful! She went over instructions with me and prep. I wasn’t sure if I needed a full bladder and she checked with the ultrasound techs and verified that I didn’t. Also I had a seasoned ultrasound tech Christy and Amber an ultrasound student. Staff were incredibly rude. Would recommend going anywhere else out of town if you can. Unfortunately the front desk staff here do not care about how they make you feel, something that is very important when it comes to general healthcare is how you make someone feel, especially at an important milestone appointment.
Do not be afraid! It’s your health and it’s worth it! Technology has come a long way, so if you think the procedures hurt, they DON’T! Maybe some discomfort for literally a second, but, again, it’s your health. Great technicians too!
I recently had my 20-week ultrasound appointment, which is such a meaningful milestone for expecting parents — it’s when you get to see your baby in detail and often learn their gender. Unfortunately, my experience with x-ray tech Sara was deeply disappointing. From the moment I walked in, her demeanor felt cold and standoffish.
