I was a patient of Bay Area Family Practice for several years. Dr. Tabrez had to leave, and I understand life happens outside of work, so I gave Dr. Mohammad a chance, even though my gut feeling was to run. In his short time of being my doctor he has prescribed so many new medications; I can't even name them all. NONE of which I was on with Dr. Tabrez. I wish I could give this office zero stars. I drove 1.5 hours to this appointment, only to find out at the front desk that my insurance was no longer accepted—something they failed to mention when confirming my visit 20 minutes prior. No courtesy call, no email, nothing. To make matters worse, the entire reason for my visit was to go over lab results—results that were never discussed because of their oversight. I had a great experience with Dr. Tabrez, but after Dr. Mohammed Muqeem took over, I felt indifferent. I still gave the office a try, but when I recently called because I wasn’t feeling well, the front desk informed me that they no longer accept my insurance. It was disappointing to learn this without any prior notice, especially since I had an upcoming appointment scheduled. A phone call or email would have been appreciated. First of all I want to say the doctor Mohammed doesn’t really care for his patients or staff. the whole staff left .when they have been there for more than 15 years & he just started there.its so sickening to think how he treated the staff when they were great. I even use to refer this office to many people . I WILL TAKE MY MONEY & HEALTH FAR FAR AWAY.

Staff is great. Always accommodate and make me feel welcome
