The doctor is professional, but the billing office is not. They didn't check my insurance thoroughly and asked me to pay more than the amount I was told before the visit. When I visit other places, the front desk usually pre-sends the information to the insurance company to let me know the exact cost beforehand. If I had been told there was a total cost of $200 for a 20-30 minute appointment, I would not have come in at all.
I am forever grateful for Dr. Golchert and his team for taking me in last minute. My experience was truly one of a kind. I used to hear how painful root canals were and I was scared to have one done but Dr.Golchert was AMAZING!!! I felt zero pain immediately. He’s amazing at what he does. Highly recommend. On June 9, 2025 I was referred to Dr. Peritore at the Sunnyvale office of Bay Area Endodontics. I had a very difficult experience and bad outcome during and after this visit. First, the clinical support staff were unprofessional and cold. When I questioned why I needed additional xrays, the technician brusquely mumbled a few words that I couldn't understand and I had to ask her to repeat.
