Birthing here was an amazingly redemptive experience. The same "complications" that led to a cesarean the first time around presented themselves in this labor as well, yet we had a successful VBAC. I can never express the gratitude I have for my amazing support team lead by Stephanie. Horrible experience over the phone. I called to get information about their services and as she was asking me questions about my past pregnancy and how much weight I gained she told me I gained too much weight then and gaining too much weight now and told me i was overweight and that if I wanted to come to them I would need to control my weight bc I can’t go over the normal weight gain of “30lbs” so if you have gained more than 30lbs DO NOT even attempt to go here. So grateful for BACBC care! When we were looking for midwives we were disappointed it seemed like there weren’t many in our area (Clear Lake). Our doula from our first birth recommended Stephanie and Frances and they were the kindest and clearest when we reached out about pricing on a budget and transferring from OBGYN in the third trimester.
