What a fun stop to start a wonderful weekend. We traveled from Houston to Port Aransas and Rockport. Bay Area Brewing was our first stop. We ordered two flights so we could taste all the beers they were currently pouring. 10 out of 10. They all were amazing! We also had lunch while we were there, also amazing. Stopped into Bay Area Brewing Company while in Rockport, and I’m glad I did! Had a few beers, and every one tasted fresh and perfectly balanced for its style. The hot pretzel was delicious, too! The taproom is clean, cute, and family-friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere. The beer tender was super friendly and helpful, offered samples, and even put a koozie on my glass to help keep my beer cold—a thoughtful touch! What a gem of a spot! Quality craft beer, great food, and amazing outdoor space. Tables are surrounded by trees and grassy adjacent lots which give it a nice open feel. Bonus gift is the on-site Rooster named Spur, who is the sweetest rooster we've ever met! 😊
