Had a fantastic time doing the 3 hour kayak rental. Phil was incredibly friendly and informative on the conditions and top tips for us. The equipment was in great condition and we were given a dry bag as well. Couldn’t recommend more, Durras Lake is stunning, if we’re back in Batemans Bay, we’ll be coming again!
We rented a two-man kayak for the afternoon and the process could not have been easier. The kayak itself was extremely comfortable thanks to added seats / lower back supports. Lake Durras was so beautiful and full of water fowl - very peaceful on a weekday afternoon. Would love to come back.
We hired two sit-on kayaks on the weekend for our group of 4 adults and a toddler. Carolyn was so lovely and made the drop off at the lake easy - simple instruction for us to be confident with what we were doing and we were on our merry way. The maps showing the deepest part of the lake and the bird watching chart were a nice touch. My exchange students from Scandanavia loved discovering what each bird was on our journey. A beautiful spot to explore. Highly recommended.
