I liked that Willie communicated well with me. He let me know when he was 30 minutes away, and then he notified me when he was on site. He later notified me of his findings and told me he would be back the next day. The following day, he did the same. I appreciate clear communication. However, their installation team lacks these communication skills.
Inherited a security and fire system from a previous owner who used Bay Alarm. Looked into options for continuing monitoring and maintenance of the current system, Bay Alarm wouldn't agree to look at maintenance until we 'upgraded' the system to the tune of 2k despite the fact that it was already a fully functioning system. As others said, this a company looking to install proprietary equipment and keep you locked out of controlling it so that they can nickel and dime you at every aspect.
