Fantastic vibe. Went in for a cocktail or two and ended up staying for a couple hours including dinner.
Super cool place. Want to go back to try their menu items, the kitchen wasn't open yet when we popped in. The vibe has a bougie speakeasy feel. The staff was very helpful and the cocktails were yummy.
I had been so looking forward to dining at Baxter's 1892 with the speakeasy feel and the live music. I tried to make a reservation, but the restaurant would not take a reservation for one, so I went early. My options were the bar or in the dark tunnel. I chose the tunnel as I thought I was going to get a table, not a high top there. Then, where the menu was placed would have me facing the back wall, as the other seat was near the kitchen entrance. My husband and I came to baxters for the first time last night. The food menu is limited, but it was DELICIOUS. We had that bbq egg rolls, dip, and mocktails. They even made a custom mocktail for my husband. Chef Jay introduced himself to us, our server was phenomenal. The music was good. The venue is kind of a “grown and sexy” vibe.
