I am so unbelievably frustrated. I took my Outback in a few weeks ago to have some transmission work done and paid for an inspection to look into an intermittent issue I was having. I only brought it here because Subarus can have picky transmissions, so I wanted a certified tech to work on it with genuine Subaru transmission fluid. They were unable to find the cause of my intermittent issue but recommended I replace the battery because it had a bad cell. Once your warranty is up, they pressure you for more service and bogus stuff. My wife has a 2025 outback and they told her brake fluid needs replaced at 22k miles. I'm 46 years old and never changed my brake fluid, what is wrong here? What kind of crap is that? And Subaru of America says the transmission fluid is lifetime!? Ask Subaru of Japan, should be drained and NOT flushed.... It's a boxer engine, change it every 60-75k based on your driving needs.

My first experience with the service department. Had a bit of a rough start, the service writer was new and we had some communication issues. Original issue was some worn USB ports. While waiting for the parts after ordering I was unfortunate enough to need a windshield due to a rock, so I had the windshield replaced too. Everything was taken care of, and even cleaned the car up. Very friendly, and informative. Met my expectations and then some
