Baxter Restoration is bad news. In March 2019, we had major water damage from our ice marker filter on our fridge it pumped out 40 to 50 pounds of pressure for about five hours. Baxter took forever to dry out our walls, therefore, we had mold that grew. Our kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets where water got in were not removed until weeks later. We recently had our first insurance claim due to a water leak from our bathroom toilet. Upon calling Baxter Restoration, project manager Robert Young was extremely helpful and patient with us with all of our questions/changes. We ended up having our toilet and vanity replaced, our entire "living area" floor replaced, one bedroom re-carpeted, as well as having fresh paint on all of the walls and baseboards. All of the Baxter team was exceptionally professional and easy to work with. They were very transparent with the process and worked hard to get the job done during the Corona virus outbreak. Mold was found during the project, and they adapted accordingly, removing drywall and flooring quickly. All the testing was done to ensure everything was mold free. The company (Jax, Fl branch) inflated charges to my bill for work that they did not perform. They provided a detailed report with incorrect information on my claim. Baxter restoration completed a preventative damage service to a claim that resulted in no damages. The company reported within the same day to my home to complete the repair. The company missed several days of pick up as a result of missing before hours appointments scheduled at 7:00am. I scheduled three appointments with Abbee Baxter to get a quotation on a mold remediation project and he was a no-show. The first scheduled no-show, I left a voice mail on his cell phone and he did not return my call. When I reached him the next day, he asked me why I didn't call his office. He stated that he was not available and didn't have a replacement to do the quotation.
