My father was being transported home from Mercy, when I received a phone call from their office. I was told that I needed to pay for the transportation which was $528. I told him he could write a check when he got home. They said they wanted their money before they brought him in the house. I asked if Id keep him if I didnt pay. And they said no. I didnt feel like arguing so I paid. They shouldve submitted this to the insurance company though. I believe this was highly inappropriate.
