Great place to relax
There were pots, pans, and dishes in the cupboards, even though the website said that there were none. There was also firewood, but we brought a bunch of our own. The two wood stoves kept the 2-room cabin quite toasty. There was even a cupboard of games to enjoy with companions. The pit toilet was quite fancy for a backwoods bathroom. Although there were plenty of friendly mice, it was a lovely evening!!
🤟🏽 We stayed here in December (for Christmas) and had a fantastic time! Totally off-grid and unplugged! A few "pro-tips" for winter visitors: Sledding in gear & water for a family of 5 is nothing to sneeze at, but if you pace yourself and have good helpers, it's surmountable. Winter parking is at the 'trailhead' parking lot to the northeast of the cabin.
