We enjoyed our visit to Battle Axe Barbell gym! The owner and his wife were super welcoming and made us feel right at home. The place has an awesome mix of strongman and strength equipment, everything was clean, and the vibe was really positive. It’s also open 24 hours — so convenient! And the fact that they allow dogs is just the best. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the Garland area!

Met with Derek and he was really friendly and welcoming. He showed me around the place and they have some really great equipment with a focus on Strength and Conditioning some notables were lots of combo racks for bench/squatting. Tons of specialty bars, a solid selection of machines to hit each body part and also a pendulum squat. Can't wait to start using this gym when I move closer.

If you’re serious about strongman or powerlifting, this is the place to train. The gym has 24-hour access, which is perfect for anyone with a crazy schedule, and it’s fully equipped with everything you need to prep for competition—logs, yokes, stones, specialty bars, calibrated plates, deadlift platforms… you name it, they’ve got it. I'll tell you hwat. You walk into a gym and it just feels right. Plenty of great equipment and vibes. Sometimes a man just wants to sweat and grind it out and this place has got it. If you're not a beefin boy or girl don't fret, this gym will still make you feel right at home. During my first visit here, two enormous specimens were deadlifting some insane gravity bending amount.
