Although they did not have my battery, Ken was extremely helpful and he tried very hard to help me out by ringing a dozen different places I give him 5 stars
Based on my experience, warranty assessments here were often inconsistent and questionable. Customers were regularly told their battery “failed due to misuse” or “wasn’t covered,” sometimes with little explanation, and were pushed into purchasing a replacement instead. As a customer, that should raise serious red flags — especially when warranties are meant to protect you, not be avoided. Staff training is another major issue. Contacted century direct and they palmed me off to battery world Melton. His Answer to any of my questions was either ‘it’s on the website’ or ‘all batteries need to go on a trickle charger every 3 weeks This includes car batteries ‘. Asked the mechanic across the car park from him and he was shocked. ‘ never heard of that ‘. It was obviously either a directive from century to put me off or the guy was being an ass with no idea.
