This place is freakin *cheap*. Poorly built, with terrible noise issues; poor insulation, such that bugs get in constantly; poorly maintained, such that the single (!!!) elevator for five floors is constantly out of service. No parking included, even in the outside area where cars routinely get broken into. And a little scam whereby a single subtle reminder about renewing your lease is deliberately underplayed so the "management" company can invoke an obscure provision of your lease allowing them to impose a $500/month penal... read more
I moved here in May and I can't say enough great things about my apartment. Love the area. My neighbors are super friendly and I get to play with a lot of cute dogs! Melissa is leasing responds immediately and takes care of any questions I've had. Maintenance is the same. The halls and trash room are kept clean and always smell good. I love it here. The apartments here are visually appealing. The finishes are reasonably polished (though appliances really should be nicer, given the monthly rent.) Maintenance is responsive. Dogs are allowed and welcome. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet. Unfortunately, there is a major problem: the floors are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the apartment above you. Updated Review: In the year since writing my first review, the building has lost a lot of its original appeal. It is still owned by Geis but isn't on their website, so it seems the building is no longer a priority to the company. Cars are broken into and stolen all summer long and residents are told that nothing can be done because the lot is public - however, we pay a pretty high fee for those unsecured spots.
