I visited this museum on a road trip with my old dog in September, and it was a pleasant surprise. The exhibits were interesting, the rooms were air-conditioned (which my old dog appreciated!), and the staff were friendly and informative. I rate it as one of the best museums we visited on our 7,500-kilometre trip, and highly recommend it, whether you're staying in Tennant Creek or just driving through.
