Fantastic store if you enjoy getting the run around. My favorite response when checking on an order is: "it will be on the truck Friday". I got to hear that week, after week, after week. Sure, you will probably get an occasional, "I don't know why the truck didn't come", or, "then it will definitely be here Monday" (it won't) but for the most part don't expect much accurate information.
Horribly over priced. I went in to purchase some small batteries for a child's toy and two batteries cost more than then toy itself. For two batteries it was almost ten dollars. I found a ten pack on amazon for five bucks. That place is a waste of time. I don't understand how they are in business still...
I had a really good experience with this location. I ordered the battery online and saved money because they had the best prices. They had my battery in stock and on my way to the store I got an email confirmation saying it was ready to be picked up. I dealt with Tom, the owner, and he installed my battery for free. Any cell phone issue, batteries for anything, and light bulbs of various kinds, I know where I'm coming back to!
A manager decided to yell at me and others for being in their parking spots, which are right next to other stores in the shopping area and the signs the have out are not legal for Florida as they are not permanent or displayed properly. We were polite and explained that we were only there to meet people that were at the other store, we had been there only 10-15 mins and it was less than 40 mins before they closed. Poor poor example set by a manager of all people.
I am giving the store one star for existing. I went in with three watches. The young man at the counter was drumming on the counter looking bored, he then says he has ADHD and must be moving, he could have moved faster to help, but instead he took my watches set them down picked up his phone and began texting. Besides bad service, when I inquired about cost I was told 5.99 for each battery, he then says there was a 6 dollar fee to install each battery. Last Thursday I got a phone call from my 13 year old daughter, only it wasn't from her phone. She had accidentally dropped her iPhone. The screen had popped out, but hadn't cracked. I needed to get this fixed quickly, and just hoped it was the just the screen that needed replaced and nothing more. Not only did the fellas here replace the screen in less than 45 minutes, but it was also the cheapest out of several places I called. They were quick, thorough and professional!
Was in there on 3-12 and the employee there was so rude as to tell me that I couldn't even look at the battery I was wanting. "There is no way you can tell by looking at it that it is the right one - you need the model # or serial number. You will just wind up bringing it back so I'm not selling it to you"... So I went home and bought it off the internet. Thank you "local business" for your support - you wont be getting any of mine...
Knowledgeable and helpful staff. We experienced a scam artist at a different Batteries Plus, came here to get a battery replaced under warranty. They checked it, replaced it. No hassle, easy.
