Employee just flat out lied and said I was never charged for a core deposit with my new car battery so he refused to give me my refund. It's crystal clear on my receipt: I was charged for the deposit.
Batteries Plus has lots of batteries and electronic parts- many of which aren't available at every store, or available at all. The staff is very friendly- especially at the Bloomington location. Even better, one can recycle any kind of battery here, for a very generous price. I think it's a dollar a pound or so? Properly disposing any sort of battery is usually so hard and/or expensive, but Batteries Plus makes it easy and inexpensive.
Great spot for battery needs - auto to home burglar alarms. To get there from 35W, head east on 98, take a left on Lyndale and then the first left into the parking lot. You have your own lane when you take the left off 98th, so it's easy to take a right if there is a red light. You just stay in rightmost lane and turn into the lot. Good inventory of batteries. Good prices. This is a good resource.
We bought a marine battery here today -- not an easy task given all the choices out there! Omar made the process so easy -- he asked questions to be sure the battery would fit our needs, explained maintenance to improve longevity, and made sure it was the same size as the old battery (so it would fit in the case). Thanks for the help; we'll be back for other battery needs!
