I’ve had consistently disappointing experiences here. On my first visit, the employee didn’t understand what a core charge was and tried to argue with me over simple math, insisting I pay a core fee even though I brought in a battery to exchange. Something that should’ve been straightforward turned into unnecessary frustration. Easy to find batteries that are not commonly found at other local retailers. Excellent assistance from the store staff!
I just found out they replace quartz watch batteries while you wait. Zephan got my almost new Seiko watch running again, and for $5 more, I get lifetime batteries for it. They also take flourescent bulbs for recycling, and are the only place I know of around here that does. (Home Depot and Lowes only take CFL bulbs, not the long ones.) They also sell a good selection of coin batteries for watches, hearing aids, etc. if you want to replace them yourself. Nice. Fast. Competent. I needed a new car battery after work and they fixed me right up. The nicest young fella and manager were so helpful in educating me on the different types of batteries. They helped me make the best decision for me. They were able to take my dead one out, put the new one in right then and make sure I was good to go before leaving. I left feeling much safer. Thank you Batteries +. I’ll be back!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON X2 BATTERIES!!!!. The batteries are extremely high maintenance and will fail without notice. The warranty is a joke. The protocol for the batteries is to do everything they can to not replace the batteries. If the voltage is below 10, you are just out of luck, regardless of how much warranty time is left on your batteries.
