The food was wonderful, small portions but lots of flavor. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud for a conversation. Great spot.

I came here with a group of students when we were in town for a conference. We had a reservation, but when we were told there may be a bit of wait, the manager was quick to offer us a table on the second floor to get us seated in a more timely manner. He also made sure to welcome us and thank us before and after our meal for choosing their restaurant while we were in town for this conference. Food came out warm— not hot. Chicken Parmesan was pretty big but not really that good($25) The pasta was called “agnolotti di zucca”($18) it tasted really good but too small of a portion… even 2 more would have been less of a shock to see and might have satisfied me. We got just beard and garlic butter at first because we like to keep it simple and boy did we get simple. That butter had zero flavor and the bread was just regular sourdough (cold-fine). Meatball Appetizer recommended by staff. Some of the worst meatballs I have ever eaten. Spinach Appetizer was good and so was the Chicken Parmiagon which was generous portion but felt overpriced based on taste alone. Items are sold single with no sides. If u want sides, you pay for those as well. Nothing complimentary except for water which was good. Atmosphere is cool, turned old fire station into a dine-in restaurant but walls looked drabby and felt like staff were very uptight trying to meet strict no fun management rules... read more
