My daughter had to have plates and screws removed from a previous surgery 2yrs ago because the screws were causing problems. We were able to go in pre-op to see her, but within a minute or two the nurses came in to put the IV in and begin administering the pre-op meds. If I would have known what my daughter was about to be put through, I would have insisted in staying until they wheeled her into surgery. The facility and staff are excellent. However, today, a new therapist attended to me. He barely communicated with me in full sentences. I had to struggle to figure out what his few hurried words meant. He did not initiate any question about my condition. He asked me to get into an equipment and immediately disappeared in about 60 seconds. There did not seem any emergency situation which warranted his rush. I was very nervous and scared of my procedure, but everyone I had contact with was very nice and professional. They told me I would be fine, and they brought me a great cup of coffee after my procedure. I would like to thank each and everyone of them for treating me with kindness and great service!!!!

Nice people but they ‘blew out’ my vein getting some blood to type. I have rolling veins and I know they can be hard to find but Baton Rouge clinic and Baton Rouge Orth Clinic have never had problems finding a vein and drawing blood. These people need to be better trained and when they have difficulty they need to have someone more experienced to call on to do the job. Aggravating.
