PLEASE READ. If you value your life or the life of your loved one, please go somewhere else. My son was brought here for severe cough, shallow breathing and unbearable chest pain. He was diagnosed (no X-ray given) with a pulled chest muscle from coughing. After two days of suffering and getting worse, we took him to OLOL. He has double pneumonia. And a “We are sorry for your experience” response from their PR Department isn’t acceptable.

We live in Ascension parish and I was trying to determine which emergency room to bring my husband too. I called to ask if there was a lot of people in the emergency room. The lady said she couldn’t give out wait times. I repeated I was not looking for wait times just the status of people. Again, refused to respond and told me to look on line. I’m driving- no way to look on line. Ridiculous.

10 out of 10 recommend. The doctors and staff are very efficient and friendly. The ER staff is amazing. If I ever need another ER visit it will be here. If you get Nurse Jo you will get well taken care of. (Writing this because I went back)

I came in for chest pain and an abnormal EKG. As soon as i walked in I was instantly greeted and brought in to the back and they got to work. Every person working there was kind, considerate, took their time to listen and address my concerns. It was by far the best ER experience I have had out of St Elizabeth, OLOL, and here. Highly recommend.
