The new place that opened up after Batik is so cute! Had the lunch special, pretty good prices for the food and it was pretty fresh
I’m sorry to report this spot is on its last legs. The dinning room and menu was barren. After seating we were handed a menu for a restaurant called “Spring” and was told they are sharing the space, huh? That’s a new one. Shortly after we were given the Batik menu. We order Malaysian classics but 2 of 5 things were not available- how could you not have chicken satay at a Malaysian restaurant? The staff was nice and service was fine but it appear they are struggling to survive.
Always excited to try Indonesian places ! can’t wait to come back . The flat noodles I wish it came with hot sauce Maybe I should’ve asked I loved the roti forgot to take a picture The green beans were good and the snapper was good
Thoughtful service and ridiculously simple and excellent food. I had the Batik Combo, wonton soup for my kiddo, and Roti Canai for my appetizer+ 2 drinks - coconut juice and lychee juice. Jolene was, our server and she was so thoughtful and accommodating and such a joy to be around on a very cold Wednesday night. I'm excited to come back again. Thanks for the fabulous food!!!! If you like spicy, this place is a good bet!!!
We decided to visit this place because we were craving Indo/Malay food. Unfortunately, on the day we visited, they were out of a lot of items since the chef hadn’t arrived. It was disappointing not to be able to order the dishes we wanted. The food we did try was average, and the beef rendang was particularly disappointing. On a positive note, the service was good.
