A month ago ATS replaced my tyre on the spot, no appointment, cost £70. When I called in for two tyres at Alder Hills I was quoted £270 (I asked for the cheapest) when I said ATS had done it for £70 they re quoted £150 for two. I was told to come back the next day at midday. Waited 2hrs 45 minutes and only got it done then because I asked what was happening. Then they tried to charge me £220. Finally agreed to £150. Did I want the tracking corrected? Think I will get that checked at my normal garage first. ABYSSMAL.
Used these guys today for an emergency diagnostics test. They were helpful, honest and fair - and Jordan knows his transporter vans. Would recommend.
Booked online. Said 1215 to 1pm. Showed up at 1205 "too early therefore MOT will take 130hs". Ok? 3hs later they call "issue with two tires (coincidence that in a whole car that has no issues the specific problem is in the tyres, in a place called protyre... Anyway). Quoted £99 for the tyres which after VAT and fitting total £270? After complaining lowered to £220. Whatever, there's nothing I can do. Will be ready by 5pm (Friday). What a change to find such an honest bunch of mechanics, They check your tyres for free and won't co-erse you into getting replacements unless the tyres are done, No wonder you were so busy today. Thanks
