Today my friends went to this bath and bodywork’s location to exchange the candles they got from candle day. They had the receipt and the candles were in perfect condition. When they arrived at the store an employee named Mandy said that the policy was they could only exchange the candles up to 2 weeks after purchasing. I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Bath & Body Works, but this experience was extremely disappointing due to inconsistent and inaccurate information provided by an employee. I was told by a staff member named Mandy that returns are only accepted within two weeks, which immediately felt incorrect. To confirm, I contacted multiple other Bath & Body Works locations and was clearly told that the return policy is up to 90 days with receipt, which directly contradicts what I was told in-store. I’ve never had a more unpleasant shopping experience. I’m extremely disappointed in how I was told by Mandy that I was not allowed to exchange candles from candle day in BRAND NEW condition, WITH a receipt. I called back and was told by another associate that any and all exchanges are allowed within 90 days with a receipt. Mandy said it was “policy” that it’s only a two week return which is not true because nowhere on the website does it explicitly say two week only exchange.
