Bates is the best. I have never moved out of state before. I had no clue of what to do. Bates not only talked me through the entire process but it was a joy to move with them. I recommend them to everyone that will listen to me.

Bates moving is relocating me to Florida. Today they packed up my home in Delaware. I must say the guys were phenomenal!!!! Steve,Aaron, Aaron jr and Bobby were great!!! They made what’s is normally a stressful time a pleasurable one for me. I truly appreciate how professional and courteous these guys were. I highly recommend Bates Moving!!!!

We used Bates Moving/United Van Lines for a move from Grasonville, MD to Atlanta, GA in early summer 2018. They did an outstanding job from providing a very thorough estimate to having an extremely knowledgeable moving crew who took great care with my parent’s treasured possessions. They answered any questions and provided much needed assurances throughout the moving process and Donna Bates who works in their office was such an asset!! Even their packers were awesome. First time using any moving company and the move could not have gone smoother. Bryant, David, and Wyatt were pleasant, efficient, and most willing to please. Thanks Bill for giving me the estimate, the office help for answering all my questions. I would certainly use Bates again as every aspect of their service was 5 star..

I have moved several times both internationally and across the country. By far the worst move I ever had was with Bates. They managed to scratch, ding, gouge almost every piece of wood furniture I own. I took pictures and asked for repair to my damaged goods. I was constantly put off by staff saying it was their busy time and they had to interview the crew. The crew they did speak with said the damage was already there which was is an all out lie. Today... these guys put in a good 16 hour day. Never complained, lost their manners, never complained. Never took a break. Hands down. A group of folks, I would trust with a 2 generations of antiques, to my youngest grandchild. Professional, wonderful group of guys!!! Choices Academy thanks you!!!

If you ever need a moving company this is the one to use. Very friendly, professional and definitely very prompt. This experience has been very overwhelming due to the situation but Bates Moving and Storage has really made this a great experience. Thank you Bill Von Paris III and your awesome employees!!!!!! So glad we chose your company to move us!!

Bates took all of the stress out of the physical move. They were ready with helpful advice when I needed it. Everyone I had contact with was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. There was no waiting on hold to reach help. The movers themselves were expert in their performance. They took extreme care and respected me and my possessions. This is definitely a 5 star company who gave a 5 star performance.
