Very unethical practice. Hired firm as a defendant for a very simple motion to dismiss. Retainer fee went up $500 during consult from what I was originally quoted due to the complexity of my case (motion to dismiss is clearly complex, lol). $250 consult fee was not deducted off retainer as promised prior to hiring. The motion was dismissed by the Plaintiff first and this firm never had to file a response, appear in court or even inform the court they were representing me, NOTHING!
