Really such a shame how my grandfather who was a veteran was treated. I'll never forget going to see him and he would just be sitting in filth. They expected him to feed himself (which he was incapable of doing because he shook) and he starved to the point where he was hallucinating. If you love your loved ones and vets you won't subject them to this despicable, deplorable place.
I do not go here for services but My family does Aunt. I have gone here for other things. I have to say that the facilities are very clean and the staff has always been very accommodating and kind to myself and my children. I think the building is beautiful and historic. It is definitely a staple for the community.
All apointmentments by phone
Four times the department of veteran affairs/ Mental health providers have recommended me to them and four times they have denied me. Seems to me like their cherry picking cases Or just don't want to help. Either way just another place adding to the twenty two a day.
