Received a bid for the interior of a new construction home from Basten recently. Scope of work to include painting the interior walls and ceilings,paint the already primed doors and trim white and that’s it. No staining, no gel coats, no exterior work of any kind. Pretty average size house. Estimate came to 48,000 dollars. That bid is higher than the highest cabinet bid, more than twice the entire plumbing bid. Maybe $1500 in materials, maybe, it’s only paint for Christ sakes. Buyer beware.
