Been attending this practice for 10 years. No complaint with the doctors but as the doctor I always saw has retired I was told this morning, by a quite disinterested receptionist that I cannot make any more appointments as the Dr. who has taken over is “ too busy “ and I should just find another doctor. She was totally uncaring and unsympathetic when I told her I had trouble walking. Wonderful practice and with amazing doctors.
Dr Charles was the first GP we met at Bassendean Family Practice, and he has been looking after us about six years now. He is always very patient, takes the time to listen, remembers medical history and is genuinely compassionate and caring. My daughter has been seeing Dr Charles since she was two years old and she is now eight. She won’t let anyone else give her flu needle except Dr Charles, as he is extremely gentle with kids. My elderly parents were loyal patients for 20+ years & now they are being treated like an invoice number. My parents are in their 80s. They’ve been going to Bassendean Family Practice for over 20 years (and would have spent thousands at this clinic). As pensioners, they trusted this clinic with their health, their records, and their ongoing care. But that care is gone.
