We came there to rent 2 jet skis. They asked for a $1,000 deposit hold for each vessel. So a $2,000 deposit hold!!! Tourists like us do not necessarily have that amount of cash on them, and if you choose the put the deposit hold on a credit card, this creates a huge problem because this hold might be released by the credit company only a few days later. We wanted to rent a boat and drive around the lake. They couldn’t tell us how long that takes, then proceeded to sell us on re ting for 4hrs. It only takes 1 1/2 hour, then they wouldn’t refund our time. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICED. We felt scammed.
We rented a X-Large Pontoon Boat and a Jet Ski for 2 hours we were a party of 13 coming from Fresno to escape the heat for a bit. Are experience was horrible before we ever boarded or got are food from the restaurant next door. My nephew was wrongly accused of drinking alcohol and a staff member rudely ask him to take his driver band off because the owner or manager saw him drinking. Well in my life time I have never felt so disappointed and discriminated especially when your son wanted to spend his birthday there and I as a parent would do anything to make them happy when we Frist arrived we checked in but I saw the faces they made especially because my brother in law is Jamaican, but besides the fact they should not make assumptions 40 years old retired and just enjoying life and honestly, I do not have time to be dealing with this but when somebody hurts my family that brings it up to a different leve... read more
