My husband and I just got home from a one-night stay (way too short) at the Bass Cottage Inn. First, I want to give Garrett a shout out for being so accommodating; our ferry from Nova Scotia was canceled the morning we were supposed to stay at Bass Cottage. We stayed at the Bass Cottage Inn this past week and it was absolutely fantastic. It is so beautifully designed, managed and located. The rooms were impeccable with daily housekeeping and the breakfast with a new menu everyday was delightful. The people serving and working at the front desk were always helpful and gave us excellent tips to make the most of our 3 day visit to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We truly felt at home. Cannot wait to come back again! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

We planned out first trip to Bar Harbor, trying to beat the extremely heavy traffic that starts in July. Planned 4 nights here, knowing it was pricey, but we thought the 4.9 rating was worth the risk, and the location is super convenient for walking this small town. On travel day, our flights got cancelled and changed to the following day. We called to discuss with the hotel manager, Garrett, and he simply said "Sorry, the policy is no refunds." I wish I was better with name staff was great young lady that checked us in and gave your was the happiest human I’ve ever met accommodations were very nice as well but staff is the selling point of this company
