Just spent three days at Basq accommodation in Rutherglen. This is one of the best appointed apartments we have ever stayed in. Our host, Michele, has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable and Rutherglen is a lovely little town to spend some time in. Highly recommend a stay at Basq

Terrific place for holiday base. Large rooms each with a king bed and ensuite. Communal bbq area with herb garden and fruit tree. Easy walk to town centre and fifteen to twenty minute drive to wineries and towns on other side of the river in NSW.

We have stayed there twice and we loved it. It’s very central for the Rutherglen area.

Perfectly situated just a short stroll from the eateries in Rutherglen and beautifully appointed. Felt at home immediately and we enjoyed the comfortable furnishings and top quality appliances. The milk and bottle of local wine left in the fridge was a welcome bonus. If I was "nit-picking" I would say a few more hangers would be useful, as would a hand towel in the bathroom. Overall though this is one of the nicest self contained apartments we have stayed in both here and overseas.
