This place is so unsanitary, I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all cost. The cleanliness of this building is absolutely disgusting workers walk around in flip-flops, showing off their dirty toes on top of that when they need to refill an ice cream bucket if there’s anything remaining in the old ice cream bucket, they scoop it out with their bare hands, no gloves and then repack it on top of the new ice cream bucket, and serve we witnessed this with our own eyes. I had an awful experience at this Baskin Robbins; every employee I saw was completely unsanitary, wearing open-toed shoes and even handling ice cream with their bare hands instead of using proper scoops or gloves, and to make matters worse, the customer service across the board was terrible—every staff member came off as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, turning what should have been a quick, enjoyable stop into one of the most unpleasant and unhygienic visits I’ve ever had, and I will not be returning.
The Baskin-Robbins on Ford Rd in Canton, MI is completely unsanitary and I am appalled by what I witnessed. While my family and I were waiting to order, the worker in front of us scooped ice cream out of an almost empty container with her bare hands to pack it into a new container. No gloves, no scooper — just her hand directly in the ice cream customers are expected to eat. I am absolutely appalled by what I witnessed at this Baskin-Robbins. Right before my family and I were about to order, one of the workers actually scooped ice cream out of an OLD container and packed it into a new “fresh” one with their bare hand. No gloves, no scooper — just a bare hand in the tub of ice cream that customers are expected to eat from.
