I love going to Baskin-Robbins and we visit quite often. But honestly, why am I being asked to tip for getting ice cream? It feels unnecessary and a bit unreasonable. I recently bought a simple cone for my child, and when I chose not to leave a tip, the employee clearly seemed unhappy. Tipping should be for service that goes beyond the basic transaction, not something customers feel pressured into for a quick scoop. It would make more sense if tipping remained optional without any awkward reactions or expectations.
Terrible customer service. She kept rushing customers, continuously insisted on taking orders in a rude and bothered manner, without giving time to decide. Also, gave a dozen customers whom she recognized a 15% off discount shamelessly with an audience awaiting their turn. Never been to a Baskin Robbins with such poor service like this one.
Despite being in a box that literally says it’s cake and ice cream, their ice cream cakes are just ice cream. A block of ice cream sold for 54$ plus tax. Criminal. And don’t bother calling to ask about it since the dude will just ask you “why doesn’t it have cake in it?” As if your the one who made it? And then sold it for 54$.. but okay!
First time having an ice cream cake from this place, it was excellent but strangely the counter guy told me the cake it’s self was cake and ice cream but it was complete ice cream, np it was delicious peanut butter chocolate
I went yesterday to get a container of chocolate chip cookie dough. I was informed it was only available as a fresh pack for $18.99. I agreed and was talking with another customer as she prepared it. When I got home, I found it wasn’t full, it was loosely packed and wasn’t enough for two bowls so I had to go to the store and get Ben and Jerry’s. That container was substantially smaller yet contained more in it. EXTREMELY disappointing that the person working couldn’t care enough to at least try packing it down a little bit. ... read more
