Today I was at the Baskin-Robbins by Fred Meyers. There was an nice gentlemen in his late 80s waiting for his ride. He asked me how much my two scoop Sunday was. I didn't pay attention to the cost, so I asked the worker/new owner the price. The older gentleman said oh I can't afford that but no worries. So the owner made some small talk with him. Boyfriend and I are visiting from Portland. I've been craving a clown cone and none of the Baskin-Robbins in our area has had them. We go in and they have no clown cones made but one of the new owners made me a clown cone. The cake decorator is off today so he had to gather bags of frosting and do it all himself. I was highly impressed. After seeing how much work he went to for me to get the clown cone I felt bad (personally I wouldn't of gone through all the effort for one cone). Went to Baskin Robins in Bonneylake today to pick up my boyfriend's birthday cake. I called yesterday to make sure they'd have the size we wanted today and even asked if I needed to reserve it or anything, and the lady assured me there would definitely be one available. When we got there, they were out. So we decided to put in the extra money and buy a larger one than we originally wanted.
