This hotel leaves little to be desired. I'm truly spoiled by this location. The waterfront rooms are amazing, 3-4 minutes walking proximity to local shops, fishing,wonderful restaurants..I could go on and on. Bask will soon have a beautiful restaurant at years end and the rooms are renovated. Stay here you will not be disappointed!
Super modern and clean rooms, the water view suite has a view TO DIE FOR!! Not to mention with booking last minute; AND booking in the middle of August; it’s still pretty affordable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Atlantic Beach/Emerald Isle to stay here. Or if you just want a relaxing sound front getaway. Only thing that WILL catch you off guard is “breakfast” being the sorriest portion of quiche ever.
The bask is hard to get in and out of- you have to u-turn on the busy highway and the locals get aggravated. The parking lot is very narrow. The rooms are hot- our ac was set on 60 all weekend and it didn’t get below 75°. There is a sign that warns you of the noisy ac unit, but it’s just old. It’s so noisy that you can’t sit on the balcony to talk. The breakfast order came incorrectly every single morning…. Items were left off (several items- bread, drinks, entire meals…..). Staff was helpful and pleasant. Rachel was so helpful and treated us so nice. The rooms were spacious but our room had some leakage issues but they were addressed. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast arrived promptly and was okay but very redundant and did not allow for cold and warm option selection( bummer for small kids that like cereal and some bacon) rooms are spacious but AC is noisy.
