I was going to buy a pair of boots from BBBR today, but they were closed for a very legitimate reason--the owner recently lost his wife. It made me realize why their customer service may have been struggling over the past year. We never truly know what people are going through, yet we're often quick to judge. This was a good reminder that kindness and patience cost nothing. Sometimes it's better not to criticize when we don't have the full story. Instead, we should offer grace, move on, and remember that everyone is fighting... read more

The owner was quite helpful when I needed a pair of work boots on the fly.

I brought my brand new, never been worn Ariat Fat Baby's in to be stretched at the ankle. He said $10 and he would call when they were done. Months go by and nothing. Everytime I go by he is closed with a sign "out sick" or "wife is sick" etc. The last one, over a month ago, said his wife had pasted away. I am very sorry for your loss. I have been pretty patient, but it's been a few months and I really want my brand new boots. Help!!!

Called the store and asked if they do all boot repairs. In a condensing tone, the person told me they been repairing boots for 30 years. I asked them if they repair tactical boots from the brand Garmont. A massive company BTW. The person laughed out loud, and said he never heard of them, he's going home for the day and to call someone else then hung up on me. The person was rude as can be. You couldn't pay me to bring something to this place to be repaired.
