I hadn't dined at the Basil Leaf in locust valley for a very long time and I'm so happy I returned there for a birthday celebration. The outdoor patio is very cozy and inviting. It takes you away and makes you feel like you're in another country. It's a charming place with lots of different eating areas so it feels very intimate no matter where you are. Top restaurant in the North Shore, has been here since the early 90’s and I’ve been going my entire life. Having just moved back to the area I’m happy to be a constant customer of this amazing establishment again. The staff is the same, the recipes are the same. All the dishes are extremely consistent.
