We are an established family business that found that there was a shortage of Australian made basic trailers been stocked in Adelaide. With 15 years heavy fabrication experience, we setup Basic Trailers. Our short-term goal is to stock anything from a basic 6x4 trailer, up to a basic 14x6 tipper trailer. We are located at 39-41 Langford Street, Pooraka 5095 & are open Mon - Fri 8:30 - 4:30pm, also open most Saturdays 9:30 - 12:30pm.

Excellent service throughout the entire process. Regular updates, completion date spot on. Trailer exactly as described. Would purchase again without hesitation.
Purchased a 10x6 from interstate, travelled 600km to collect. Tows like a dream, perfectly balanced and extremely well built. The cage is the best ive seen solid and no noise. If you want a great Aussie manufactured trailer use Basic Trailers. As my fleet expands ill be back gor another.
When I contacted them about a trailer and what I needed they were the most unhelpful company I have ever encountered. It sounded like I was talking to some guy in a shed who just couldn't be bothered to discuss my needs as they had al most sold out of trailers.
Basic Trailers were brilliant. Great service and a great finished product. Throughout the process I was kept up to date on how the trailer was progressing. Very impressed with the whole experience. Well done!
I bought a 8x5 tandem a bit over 3 years ago and I love it. I asked for some extra tabs and tie downs welded on, they were helpful and polite. It tows beautifully. I have carted tonnes of firewood, once using it in reverse as a battering ram into scrub, it didn't care. Dropped red gum limbs directly into, no issue. Filled it overflowing with wet rubble, rocks and bricks, loves it. Loaded with wet clay, forgot to lock the hitch and slammed it under my 4wd into the road, I bent the brake lever back and it's fine.
