Not an authentic sushi place, just a restaurant fooling the local that never had real sushi. The burger patty was completely dried out, like the chef had no basic kitchen training. But the sushi side is the real scam. I ordered “toro,” expecting the luxury tuna belly, but they served me the completely wrong fish. Looks like some low-end yellowtail to me. They can only do that because the customer they served never had real sushi or bluefin tuna. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Huge selection of sushi and some nice burger combinations. Their take on the Old Fashioned cocktail includes Japanese whiskey, and other cocktails including things like lychee and yuzu.

My girlfriend and I went to Burger and Sushi House in Ottawa tonight looking forward to ordering off the great looking menu. Once there, our server Angie S. looked past us quickly, dropping the menu without even a “hello.” Our entire experience with her was rushed even down to her dropping the bill when we still had food on our plates and were planning to order drinks and a dessert. The fries are crisp, edemame sweet Smash burgers full of flavor. The service attentive (but ask for water) They help with decent favors. Just don't get the veggie burger. The atmosphere of metal and wood is elevated and bright, The gyoza sauce is spoonable, Hot green tea a delight. Just don't get the veggie burger. Its flavorless. It's mushy...
