Appreciate having this kind of “bootcamp” type gym around that now also offers “open gym” time as well as the occasional yoga. The bootcamp-structured classes help push and kick my butt without me having to think too hard to structure my own workouts. The key to these types of classes are to know your own limit and push yourself to improve, get stronger and fitter, only against yourself, never compare yourself to someone else and never sacrifice form. Kim and Paul are always so friendly, and greet you with a smile each day. Also, all staff is helpful and willing to support if modifications to workouts are needed!
Basepoint is an awesome gym with an amazing community of people. I generally take the evening classes with Paul and he is an excellent instructor - he is motivational, patient, and works hard to ensure everyone in the class is reaching their potential in a safe way.
I appreciate the variety of classes focusing on different functional movements, core stability, cardio fitness, and strength. With the options of adding stretching and yoga to your weekly routine. They follow a holistic approach to fitness and strength building. Additionally, the same group classes are offered multiple times throughout the day, providing flexibility.
